To Observe The Clinical Curative Effect Of Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Acute Facial Paralysis Of The Type Of Being Invaded By Wind And Cold

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture in the treatment group(damaged below chorda tympani nerve segment) of the type of being invaded by wind and cold.Finding the best method of treatment for acute stage peripheral facial paralysis.Methods:Choosing the acute stage of peripheral facial paralysis patients 64 cases which comform to the diagnosis standard and intaking standard. Using the method of random grouping, divided the patients into 2 groups,treatment group (acupuncture and moxibustion Yifeng) and control group (Western Medicine).Each group has 32 cases.The control group use prednisone 30mg/d,taking in the morning at one time, reduced to 25mg 1 week later and gradually stop taking.The treatment group:①In the 3 days of the onset, we acupuncture the points in the futher side.After 3 days to 1 week, acupuncture the points in the face. Electroacupuncture with high frequency intermittent wave would be used 1 week later.②Do moxibustion at Yifeng point.The control group:Prednisone 30mg/d each morning after meal. Gradually reduced to stop taking after 7 consecutive days.Two groups’s facial motor scores and facial nerve function classification were recorded before and after treatment,observing the patient’s healing days. At the end of the treatment, the curative effect of the two groups was observed. Data analysis by SPSS20.0 statistical software was done after the observation.Results:(1)At the end of the treatment,the score of facial movements and facial nerve function classification of the two groups’ patients has been significantly improved compared with the situation before treatment (P<0.01).(2)After treatment, the two groups’s facial nerve function classification, Portmann score and clinical efficacy were not significant different(P>0.05). (3) The Portmann scores of the two groups were significantly improved after treatment(P <0.01).H-B facial nerve function classification was significantly improved after treatment (P <0.01).(4)Comparing the average recovery days of the two groups, treatment group was slightly lower than that of the control group.But the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:The treatment of acupuncture combined with moxibustion Yifeng point is effective to the patients in accordance with the diagnostic and criteria. Compared with the control group, acupuncture and moxibustion group has less side effect, and is worth popularizing(P>0.05).
