| Currently there are about 220 million hypertensive patients in China, and its complications do damage to the heart, brain and kidney and so on.It has been a serious threat to the physical and mental health of residents in our country [1]. The prevention and treatment of hypertension are urgent. At present the treatment of high blood pressure mainly relies on western medicine, that are accompanied by various adverse reactions and other problems. Traditional Chinese medicine gets more and more attention of the world medical researchers because of its safety and effectiveness. It has become an important way of discovering new antihypertensive agents by finding the effective and safe antihypertensive ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine.The studies of anti-inflammatory and anti-thrombosis of Cotinus Coggygria as a traditional medicine are continued. It can significantly degrade people’s blood pressure by drinking the water soaking Cotinus Coggygria in the folk. Here we take modern experimental methods to assess the anti-hypertensive effects of the extracts of Cotinus Coggygria and the effective partions of the extract, at the same time,we study the impact of Cotinus Coggygria on the some biological functions of animal.This topic is divided into four parts 1.We set two extracting time to extract Cotinus Coggygria with water. Then the extracts were partitioned with systematic solvent extraction. 2. The rats received different doses of the different extracts of Cotinus Coggygria by intragastric gavage, and we observed their effects on blood pressure. 3. The rats received different doses of the extrct of Cotinus Coggygria that has more obvious effect on blood pressure by intragastric gavage,and we observed their effects on blood pressure,heart rate,weight and the related biochemical indexes. 4. We used isolated rat aortic rings to assess the effects of the extracts and the partions of the extract on the role of diastolic blood vessels. Results: 1. The amount of extrct that took 8 hours to get was more than the extract that took 2 hours to get. The partioning products of the 8 hours-extract with petrol ether, ethyl acetate and n-butyl alcohol were more than 2 hours-extract.2.0.1g/kg,1g/kg and 10g/kg body weight(bw) of the two extracts could significantly degrade rats’ diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure.The effect of the extract that took 2 hours to get on the blood pressure is a little better than the 8 hours’ one.3.The rats received the extrct that took 2 hours to get by intragastric gavage. The change of heart rate and weight had no evident difference compared with normal control.Meanwhile,there are no effect on the levels of serum glucose,TG,CHO and the activity of ALP and ALT.4.The reduction of norepinephrine-induced aortic contraction by the extract that took 2 hours to get is a little better. The products that partion the extract that took 2 hours to get with ethyl acetate and n-butyl alcohol cause reduction of norepinephrine-induced aortic contraction is better. Conclusion: Water-soluble ingredients of Cotinus Coggygria significantly degrade rats’ blood pressure and does not affect the animal’s heart rate,weight, the levels of glucose,TG,CHO and the activity of ALP,ALT in the blood.The extract cause reduction of norepinephrine-induced aortic contraction.The reduction of norepinephrine-induced aortic contraction caused by the products that partion the extract with ethyl acetate and n-butyl alcohol is bigger.We can determine that the polarity of antihypertensive effect components in the Cotinus Coggygria is smaller than that of water. |
