Select the students in each grade from five-year nursing higher vocational college to have in-depth interviews. Adopt Colaizzi’s phenomenological data analysis method for data collection, sorting and analysis. Results:Quantitative study:Sent out 752 copies of questionnaire, and got back 732 effective copies. (1) KAOP score was 155.82± 20.62, FAQ1 score was 10.27 ± 2.68, the scores of two questionnaires were positively correlated (r=0.168, P=0.000). Multiple regression analysis results showed that:Nursing student who had good relationship with the elderly, had cared the elderly, willing to engage in gerontological nursing and do better in FAQI have more active attitude toward older people. Senior students and students having higher KAOP scores are also better in FAQ1. (2) 409 (55.9%) of 732 were willing to work in gerontological nursing field after graduation.
