Objective:To investigate the correlation of blood glucose, blood HbA1 c and blood lipid levels of pregnancy in gestational diabetes mellitus with neonatal birth weight. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 120 cases(GDM group)qualified to fulfill the study requirement and 110 normal pregnancies(normal group)for comparison in same period hospitalized at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from July 2014 toJune2015.Blood glucose, lipid levels were measured by using Cobas-8000 type automatic biochemical analyzer and glycosylated hemoglobin A(HbA1c)level measured by using by D10 Bio-Rad full automatic glycosylated hemoglobin analyzer, body weight and Apgar score of neonates were taken in both GDM group and normal group. And then analyze the differences of blood glucose, blood lipid,HbA1 c levels and neonatal score between the two groups and the correlation of blood glucose, blood lipid,HbA1 c levels of GDM group with neonatal birth weight; According to does the newborn is macrosomia, divide the pregnant women into two groups and then compare the HbA1 c levels between the two groups. Results:Compared with normal pregnancy group, the LDL and HDL levels were higher in GDM group, but the differences were not statistically significant(P > 0.05); however fasting blood glucose, cholesterol(TC)and triglyceride(TG)levels were higher than the normal group, the Apgar score was lower than the normal group and statistically significant(P<0.05).Person’s analysis shows that blood glucose and triglyceride levels of GDM group are positively correlated to neonatal body weight and the results are statistically significant(P<0.05).The HbA1 c level of pregnant women in macrosomia group was greater than non-macrosomia group(P < 0.05). Conclusion : The level of maternal blood glucose, triglyceride and glycosylated hemoglobin A of gestational diabetes mellitus are closely correlated to the neonatal body weight.
