The Curative Effect And Security Observation Of Caffeine Citrate In The Treatment Of Primary Apnea Of Prematurity

Objective:By contrasting the curative effect between different dose caffeine citrate and aminophylline in treatment of primary apnea of prematurity, evaluate the effectiveness and safety of caffeine in treatment of primary apnea of prematurity. Methods:1)A total of197 preterm infants,presented with primary apnea,were recruited in our hospital from December 2013 to December 2015,According to the table of random numbers respectively into conventional dose caffeine citrate group(maintain 5 mg/kg;67 cases),high dose caffeine citrate group(maintain 10 mg/kg;80 cases) and aminophylline group(50 cases),Contrast the curative effect, safety(and side-effect,including polycardia, Feeding intolerance and its duration, fall of blood pressure, hyperglycaemia) and short-term complications(â…¢ tage and above BPD, NEC, ROP).Results: 1)There were no significant difference between conventional dose caffeine citrate group and high dose group with aminophylline group in curative effect(P>0.05). 2) To compared with the caffeine citrate high dose group and conventional dose group, there were significant difference in the treatment effects(P<0.05), 3) There were significant difference in low incidence of adverse reactions(P < 0.05). 4)There was no statistically significant difference in the short-term complications between there groups. Conclusion: 1) The curative effect contrast between caffeine citrate and aminophylline in treatment of primary apnea of prematurity are similar, the adverse reactions wasv lower than aminophylline group. 2) the treatment effect of high dose group was obviously higher than the regular dose group and the adverse reactions occurred without adding more.
