Objective: The thesis is aimed to explore Standardized Patients application effect in medical and surgical inquiry physical examination clinic teaching and analyze the promotion effect of clinical comprehensive ability among clinical undergraduate students.Method: For the study, 113 students are chosen to be studying object who have been studied in our hospital on the class of 2010. Students are divided into two groups. There are 57 students in experimental group, the other 56 students constitute the matched group. Standardized Patients are applied in the experimental group and the other group is using traditional teaching method. After internal medicine and surgical practice, the two groups of students will be assessed in order to evaluate the students’ clinical comprehensive ability. At the same time, the students of the experimental group and Standardized Patients will be investigated, to know the evaluation of the teaching method of the Standardized Patients. In this research, all of the data are analyzed by statistical software package SPSS13.0. Measurement data are presented as mean ± standard deviation( SX ±) and tested by t; count data are tested by x2, difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1. In experimental group, the average point of medical, surgical inquiry physical examination is significantly higher than the other group(P<0.05) which is statistically. Especially in the ritual, patient assessment and human communication during the operation there are significant differences.2. The questionnaire survey shows that all the members of the experimental group prefer this method. They think this is an innovative method full of affinity; improve their ability to analyze and solve problems, promote the communication between doctors and patients and contribute to the understanding and memory of medical knowledge.3. All the students who are chosen to be SP believe that being SP take an positive effect in their life especially in their work. Besides there is a sense of needed when being SP. During the same time students also make a great progress in their understanding of medical knowledge and clinical ability.Consequence: 1. SP(student standardized patient) in auxiliary clinical teaching can significantly improve the results of clinical ability examination.2. SP(student standardized patient) applying in undergraduate students training medical, surgical inquiry physical examination can promote the clinical comprehensive ability, especially upgrading on aspects of ritual, patient assessment and human communication during the operation which is worth further promotion.3. All the students who are chosen to be SP believe that being SP take an positive effect in their life especially in their work.
