| Objective: To evaluate the effect of virtual patient training on human centered clinical thinking ability of medical undergraduates. In order to further optimize the teaching mode of the undergraduate course introduction to general practice guided by results. To improve the quality of general practice education in Colleges and universities. Methods: 307 five-year undergraduates majoring in 102 clinical medicine from China Medical University were selected as the research objects. In this study, first of all,we use the literature research method to systematically understand the teaching mode of "Introduction to general practice" of undergraduates at home and abroad and the requirements of general practice education in Colleges and universities in the new era in China, and analyze the current application status of the teaching mode of "Introduction to general practice" of Undergraduates in our university.Secondly, the paper puts forward some suggestions to further optimize the current teaching mode based on the results oriented education theory.Next, relying on the "Zhiqu online virtual diagnosis and treatment education" platform of Wuhan talc Information Technology Co.,Ltd.,a virtual patient model of general medicine suitable for undergraduates is established.Then,307 five-year undergraduates of 102 period clinical medicine major in China Medical University were trained in the integration of human-centered clinical thinking and patient-patient communication ability by using the whole group control study and the virtual patient model of general medicine established in this study, and the effect of training was evaluated by the Leicester evaluation scale. Finally, the questionnaire method was used to investigate the opinions and suggestions of medical undergraduates on the application of virtual patient teaching tools to train clinical thinking. Results: 1.The evaluation results of the Leicester scale showed that: through virtual patient training, the final average score and clinical thinking ability score of the study group were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.The results of person correlation analysis showed that the score of clinical thinking ability of medical students was positively correlated with the total score of final examination.3.According to the results of questionnaire survey,93.24%of the students think that"virtual patient"can improve the human-centered thinking ability,85.05%of the students think that"virtual patient"can improve the communication ability between doctors and patients,92.88%of the students think that it is helpful to spread the human-centered general practice theory,71.89%of the students use"virtual patient"to study after class,89.68%of the students agree with"virtual patient"In the teaching of other subjects,93.60%of the students think that the general practice concept of human centered is helpful for clinical work in the future, and 64.41%of the students plan to become general practitioners in the future.4.It is suggested that in the current teaching mode of"case-centered,problem-based and community-oriented",the teaching tool of"virtual patient"should be applied to further strengthen the training of medical students’clinical thinking and communication ability of doctors and patients, adapt to the requirements of general practice education in Colleges and universities in the new era,and further improve the teaching quality. |
