The Influence Of The Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)-Compound Muyanning Decoction To Acute Phase Protein In Patients With Recurrent Uveitis

Purpose:The objective of this study is to compare the clinical curative effect and acute phase protein outcomes including C-reactive protein,hypersensitive C-reactive protein and plasma fibrinogen index in patients with recurrent uveitis after treat with the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)-Compound Muyanning Decoction.Methods:50 eyes of 50 patients treatd for recurrent uveitis from January 2015 to March 2016 in Ophthalmology Department,the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University Of Chinese Medicine(HLJUCM). Participants are divided into two groups:the treatment group on the basis of conventional western medicine(same as control group) was added Compound Muyanning Decoction,the control group on atropine eye ointment, tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops, Pranoprofen eye drops, and adjust dosage according to patients condition during the 4-week treatment phase.During and following the completion of therapy, a statistics comparison and analysis on visual acuity,clinical signs and symptoms,C-reactive protein,hypersensitive C-reactive protein and plasma fibrinogen between the two groups is carried out.Results:1.In this study,50 cases of recurrent uveitis include anterior uveitis and panuveitis,with a similar proportion.2.Treatment group total effective rate was 92%, superior to control group.3.C-reactive protein and hypersensitive c-reactive protein were positive before treatment, fibrinogen is part of the positive, Show in the inflammatory response, c-reactive protein sensitivity is better than that of fibrinogen.4.Statistics analysis revealed that the concentration of C-reactive protein,hypersensitive C-reactive protein and plasma fibrinogen was significantly lower in the eyes after the treament with Compound Muyanning Decoction, and it is more effective than control group,may be related to Compound Muyanning Decoction associated with anti-inflammatory and immune regulation function.5. C-reactive protein,hypersensitive c-reactive protein and plasma fibrinogen significantly lower on average, close to healthy people.
