Study On The Relationship Between TCM Syndrome And Frequency Of Dialysis,Dialysis Age And So On Of Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients

Objective:Collecting the TCM syndromes of maintenance hemodialysis patients,analyzing the TCM syndromes characteristics, exploring the influence of related factors to syndromes can provide theoretical basis for TCM treatment of dialysis patients, it is beneficial for improving the quality and prolonging the survival period of life of dialysis patients.Method:This study used a cross-sectional survey,chose the patients with maintenance hemodialysis who accord with the western medicine diagnostic standards, made the TCM syndromes questionnaires of CRF,collected clinical data of MHD patients,such as general conditions, dialysis frequency and ages,primary disease,TCM syndromes,dialysis modes and ect,analysis the relationship between dialysis frequency and ages and the TCM syndromes.Result:1.the main symptoms of the deficiency syndrome in patients with hemodialysis including dry mouth and throat,fatigue,aversion to cold, cold feeling of limbs,bitter taste,soreness and weakness of waist and knees, dizziness and tinnitus; those of the excess syndrome showed oliguria,anuria,pruritus,scaly ry skin,tetany and dryness of eyes.2.The relationship between TCM syndromes and dialysis frequency:Qi-yin deficiency syndrome was the majority type (49.62%) in the deficiency syndrome,yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney syndrome,qi deficiency of the spleen and kidney syndrome were the second,yin deficiency of liver-kidney syndrome and yin-yang deficiency syndrome had the lowest occurence.In the excess syndrome,damp-du syndrome was majority(25.57%),the second was damp-heat syndrome,damp-muddy syndrome,blood-statis syndrome,dampness syndrome was rare,some patients had no obvious accompanying syndrome.3.The relationship between TCM syndromes and gender,age:133 cases of MHD patients with their deficiency and excess syndrome had no obvious statistical difference in different gender and age.4.The relationship between TCM syndromes and dialysis frequency:The ratio of deficiency or excess syndrome had statistical differences(P<0.05).The main syndrome of TCM in patients treated twice every week was yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney and deficiency of qi and yin.The syndrome of TCM in patients treated three time every week was deficiency of qi and yin,The distribution of deficiency or excess syndrome had no obvious statistical difference (P>0.05) 5.The relationship between TCM syndromes and dialysis age:The ratio of deficiency or excess syndrome had statistical differences(P<0.05).The syndrome of TCM in patients with dialysis age less than 12 months was yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney,those of TCM in patients with dialysis age 12-36 months were deficiency of qi and yin and yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney,deficiency of qi and yin syndrome was the majority in patients with dialysis age more than 36 months;The deficiency or excess syndrome of different dialysis age had no significant difference in the distribution.6.The relativity between TCM syndromes and dialysis method:The distribution of deficiency syndrome had no statistical differences(P>0.05),the excess syndrome had difference in the distribution (P<0.05),the turbid toxic syndrome, damp-heat syndrome,damp-muddy syndrome were the majority in patients treated with HD,the main syndrome of the patients treated with HD+HDF、HD+HP were turbid toxic and no obvious accompanying syndrome.7.The relationship between TCM syndromes and primary disease:The distribution of deficiency syndrome had no obvious statistical differences(P> 0.05). Conclusion:1.The main characteristics of pathogenesis in patients with chronic renal failure in the dialysis stage were still deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality and intermingled deficiency and excess.2.The TCM syndromes of MHD patients had no obvious relativity with gender,age and primary disease.3.TCM syndrome distribution are related to dialysis frequency,dialysis age and dialysis method of MHD patients, The main syndrome of TCM in patients treated twice every week were yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney and deficiency of qi and yin.The syndrome of TCM in patients treated three time every week was deficiency of qi and yin; The syndrome of TCM in patients with dialysis age less than 12 months was yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney,those of TCM in patients with dialysis age 12-36 months were deficiency of qi and yin and yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney,deficiency of qi and yin syndrome was the majority in patients with dialysis age more than 36 months; the turbid toxic syndrome, damp-heat syndrome,damp-muddy syndrome were the majority in patients treated with HD,the main syndrome of the patients treated with HD+HDF、HD+HP were turbid toxic and no obvious accompanying syndrome.
