Objective:Primary caregivers of young stroke patients to assess anxiety and depression status quo, analysis of young patients with stroke caregivers anxiety, depression and related factors, and to explore the impact of young primary caregivers of stroke patients anxiety, depression important factor, intended to be the primary caregivers for their psychological adjustment to provide background information and scientific evidence, and take active measures to improve their mental health.Methods:Non-experimental descriptive studies. Objects for a municipal general hospitals of stroke units in April 2015-July 2015 60 150 cases under the age of young stroke patients and their primary caregivers undergoing treatment. Young stroke patients with general information and use self scale survey of primary caregivers for caregivers SocialSupport Rating Scale (SSRS) assess social support, general self-efficacy scale assessment of self-efficacy, Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) to assess depression and anxiety conditions; for young stroke patients with daily living rating scale (ADL) assessment of life activity, brief mental status examination table (MMSE) assessment identified known functions. Measurement data (mean±standard deviation), said between two or more groups were compared using the F test. Count data frequency, expressed as a percentage. Depression, anxiety-related factors were analyzed by multivariate linear regression analysis, P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:1. Primary caregivers of young stroke patients HAMD score was (9.60±8.05) points, a total of 52% of caregivers have different degrees of depressive symptoms, of which 34 per cent of caregivers have mild depression,14 percent of caregivers in depressive symptoms, and 4% of caregivers had severe depressive symptoms.2. Caregivers families HAMA score was (8.76±6.94) points, a total of 52% of caregivers have different degrees of anxiety,28 percent of caregivers may have anxiety symptoms,14% must have anxiety symptoms,10 percent of caregivers significant anxiety symptoms.3. Factors affecting young primary caregivers of stroke patients’depression univariate analysis, the results show:the main caregiver depression scores and patient age, patient education, patient MMSE score, caregiver age, caregiver education, family revenue (RMB), caregiver working conditions, caregivers perceived health status, whether remote medical treatment difference was statistically significant. (P<0.05). However, according to patient sex, patient ADL score, caregiver gender, relationship with the patient, caregiver time day care, medical expenses payment factor grouping, depression score between the groups was not statistically different.4. Stroke patients with primary caregivers depression total score dependent variable, univariate analysis were statistically significant indicators of a multivariate linear regression analysis showed that:patients with primary caregivers of stroke depression score and whether remote medical patients MMSE score, the patient’s age, caregivers work status relevant. Where and whether off-site medical treatment, patient MMSE scores were negatively correlated.5. Young stroke patients affect primary caregivers anxiety factor univariate analysis showed that:the main caregiver and patient anxiety score MMSE score, caregiver age, caregiver education, annual household income (yuan), caregiver work state, caregivers perceived health status, whether remote medical caregiver time day care, medical expenses payment difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). By patient age, patient education, patient gender, patient ADL score, caregiver gender, and relationship factors in the subgroup of patients, no statistically significant difference between anxiety score between the groups.6. Young stroke patients with primary caregivers anxiety total score of the dependent variable in the univariate analysis were statistically significant indicators of a multivariate linear regression analysis showed that:primary caregivers of stroke patients and whether anxiety scores remote medical treatment, caregiver job status, annual household income, medical expenses payment difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Where and whether off-site medical care, household income, medical expenses payment negatively correlated.7. In young stroke patients, social support and general self-efficacy levels lower primary caregiver depression, the higher the anxiety level, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion:Young stroke patients primary caregivers anxiety and depression more serious. The incidence of depression and anxiety whether remote medical treatment, patients MMSE score, the patient’s age, caregiver working conditions, household income, payment of medical expenses, social support, general self-efficacy were correlated. Medical personnel should actively take targeted interventions to improve primary caregivers of stroke patients mental health, which is to improve the quality of life of patients and caregivers of the importance of both.
