Objective:To acquire a better view of the current situation of further education of in-service nurses in and out of hospital,and to compare the difference between the two status through this survey,and to carry out the related analysis of influencing factors and feedback from nurses. Through these methods, references will be provided for better further education for nurses.Methods:In this essay,the author adopted connivance sampling and questionnaire to carry out the survey among 500 nurses in one top three hospital in Changchun. The questionnaire consists of three parts: general information,further education status and feedback. All the data collected are recorded in Epidata 3.1,and then analyzed through SPSS 2.0.Then they are grouped by general information to compare different influences on satisfaction and other factors through the methods of T-test and oneway ANOVA. Differences in gender,age,departments,sources of costs,education backgrounds all cast influence on satisfaction.Results:1.Satisfaction for further education: teaching contents(3.10±0.50), value of courses(3.62±0.52),professional level(3.26±0.52),curriculum(4.10±0.62),general satisfaction(3.52±0.40).2.The satisfaction difference of different age group has statistical significance.(P<0.05).3.The difference in teaching contents for nurses from different departments has statistical significance.(P<0.01).4.The difference in educational backgrounds has statistical significance.(P<0.05).5.Different sources of costs have statistical significance.(P<0.05).6.Different length of courses has statistical significance.(P<0.05).7.The timeliness and practicality of further education has statistical significance.(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Curriculum has highest satisfaction among all the others,and in-service nurses are generally satisfied with further education.2.The influencing factors for satisfaction include: age,length of service,departments,educational background,sources of cost,period of training,adequacy of human resources,willingness for further education,timeliness and practicality of further education.3.Medical further education is increasing in training time and contents,and in-service nurses have different focuses and needs on projects carried out.4.To promote the development of medical further education and to increase the satisfaction of in-service nurses,the managing level should put more focus on training contents and training level.
