Research On Influencing Factors Of Nurses’ Willingness To Participate In "Internet + Nursing Service" Based On UTAUT Model

Objective"Internet + Nursing Service" can meet the growing demands of Chinese people for home care service.As the main service providers,nurses’ willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service" is crucial.This study aims to explore the willingness and influencing factors of nurses to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service" in Grade A tertiary hospitals in Lanzhou,hoping to provide reference basis and policy suggestions for the promotion of "Internet + Nursing Service" in Gansu Province.MethodsLiterature related to the " Internet + Nursing Services " and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT)model was extensively reviewed.Factors that may affect nurses’ willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Services" were extracted.Based on the UTAUT model and the results of literature review,the Questionnaire on Nurses’ willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service" and its influencing factors was designed,and the model and research tools of influencing factors of willingness to participate were determined through panel discussion.583 nurses from five Grade A tertiary hospitals in Lanzhou were selected by convenient sampling method from October to December 2021 to conduct a questionnaire survey on the APP called questionnaire star based the questionnaire mentioned above.SPSS22.0 software was used for data statistical analysis,mainly by descriptive statistical analysis and single factor analysis statistical methods,AMOS21.0 software was used to construct the structural equation model of influencing factors of nurses’ willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service",and to verify the research hypothesis.Results1.The nurses’ willingness to participate in the "Internet + Nursing Service"The average score of nurses’ willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service" in Grade A tertiary hospitals in Lanzhou was(3.78±0.74)points.2.The impact of nurses’ general information on the willingness to participate in the "Internet + Nursing Service"Academic qualifications,employment form,monthly income,knowledge of "Internet + Nursing Service" and acceptance of "Internet + Nursing Service" can affect nurses’ participation in "Internet + Nursing Service",which is statistically significant(P <0.05).3.Results of Structural Equation ModelPerformance expectancy,effort expectancy and social influence positively affected nurses’ willingness to participate in the "Internet + Nursing Service",the standardization path coefficients are 0.198,0.412,0.173(P <0.05).Effort expectancy and facilitating conditions positively affected nurses’ performance expectancy,the standardization path coefficients are 0.722,0.300(P <0.05).Self-efficacy positively affected nurses’ effort expectancy,the standardization path coefficient is 0.698(P<0.05).Social influence positively affected nurses’ perceived risk,the standardization path coefficient is 0.408(P <0.05).Conclusion1.Nurses in Grade A tertiary hospitals in Lanzhou have a relatively high willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service".2.Nurses with master degree or above have stronger intention to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service".The willingness of enrolled nurses to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service" was higher than that of contract nurses and personnel agency nurses.Nurses with higher monthly income have stronger willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service".Nurses who knew "Internet + nursing service" and fully accepted "Internet + Nursing Service" showed stronger willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service".It is suggested that in-service nurses should be provided with learning approaches to self-improvement in the future.Improve the welfare of employed nurses,enhance their professional confidence and expand their career development space;Promote "Internet + Nursing Service",let more nurses know its advantages,so that they are willing to accept and participate in it.3.Performance expectation,effort expectation and social influence directly affect nurses’ willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service".Effort expectation and facilitating conditions indirectly affect nurses’ willingness to participate in "Internet+ Nursing Service" through influencing performance expectancy.Self-efficacy indirectly affects nurses’ willingness to participate in "Internet + Nursing Service" through influencing effort expectancy.It is suggested that the government should refine "Internet + Nursing Service" policies,regulations and industry norms and explore the operation mode of "Internet + Nursing Service" in the future.Hospitals should do a good job in "Internet + Nursing Service" talent selection and training.The third-party platform should strengthen the development and application of information technology platform for "Internet + Nursing Service".Nursing managers should take active measures to improve nurses’ self-efficacy.Nurses should consciously change their conception and play a leading role to promote the implementation and development of "Internet + Nursing Service".
