Objective The present study was designed to find effect and influence factors of on-the-job training for general practitioners in Siping area.Methods Through research status Siping area of training general practitioners, general practitioners to assess the effect of training training effectiveness and impact of many factors, to explore a line with the actual situation in the region general practitioner training model. The main survey data collection of age, gender, education, job title, before training in the professional, affiliation category and other information, and develop satisfaction survey to collect feedback. Use Epi Data3.0 establish a database for data entry, SPSS18.0 collation and statistical analysis of the database. Comparison between different groups using analysis of variance, two-sample t-test and paired t-test, and c2 test. Withα= 0.05, P <0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results 1.108 trainees males, aged mainly between 36-54 years old, with college and secondary education levels and below the main title to primary and secondary mainly engaged inside and outside, gynecology, pediatrics and other professional within the larger proportion of surgical trainees, most of the participants from the community health service centers and community health service stations; 2. the higher of the training courses on specific aspects of satisfaction with training materials and training content; 3. Different ages between training content and curricula are compared, it can be seen training satisfaction differences between ages statistically significant(c2=6.171,P=0.046); 4. for different qualifications Teacher level(c2=1.044,P=0.631), training(c2=3.025,P=0.241)and satisfaction level of teachers between different titles(c2=1.270,P=0.508), training(c2=1.275,P=0.705)satisfaction of the differences were not statistically significant; skills operating results 5. before and after training(t=-8.294, P<0.001), the theoretical score(t=-7.877, P<0.001) differences exist statistics Significance; 6. Operating results before and after the training change skills, it can be seen by comparing the skills operating performance difference variation gender, age group, education, job title were not statistically significant between(P>0.05). 7.changes before and after the training theoretical results, it can be seen by comparing the theoretical performance differences exist between men and women change was statistically significant(t=-2.350,P=0.021), different age groups(F=0.768,P=0.467), education(F=1.221,P=0.299), change the title of the theoretical performance(F=2.061,P=0.132)between the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05). Engaged in professional training of different grades existed before the change, but the first training in different professional differences in scores between the changes are not significant(F=0.571,P=0.684). Affiliations different categories of accomplishments are there is a change, but the difference between the change of affiliation category scores are not significant(F=1.720,P=0.167).Conclusion 1. The satisfaction of general practitioners’ training is not higher,but the overall satisfaction rate is very low. 2. The method of training students of different ages to be targeted to develop training programs. 3. Training of teachers training has little effect.
