Objective:To compile the evaluation tool for our nursing managers to evaluate the first-aid ability of clinical nursing staff. Not only can provide basis for nursing managers to evaluate the first-aid ability of clinical nursing staff accurately, but also provide reference for clinical to train it.Methods:The research adopted literature research method, Delphi method, questionnaire method, statistical analysis method and so on.The concrete step is that based on the literature review, dimensions and items were studied out by combing with the studies at home and abroad and expert’s demonstration in a small range. The prognostic scale was formed on the basis of early scale by Delphi evaluation, and the formal scale was developed by the way that pretesting clinical nursing staff of Fenyang hospital in Shanxi province. Then using the scale to take a great sample test, item analysis, reliability and validity for clinical nursing staff from 3 hospital of Shanxi province.Eventually, the scale came into being. It’s divided into 3 parts:1. Expert consultation object: 1)authoritative. 2) professional representative. 3)With regional representative. 4) Have a positive attitude to answer the expert questionnaires and ensure to keep completing two-round questionnaire response.2. Pre-investigation object: The pre-investigation objects were chosen by cluster sampling of clinical nursing staff in departments from Fengyang hospital of Shanxi province.3. Formal investigation object: Cluster sampling of clinical nursing staff in departments as the large samples from three grade hospitals in Shanxi.Results:1. The statistical results showed that the effective recovery rate for two round expert questionnaires were 89.47% and 100%.It means that experts’ enthusiasm is high. The specialist authority coefficient(There is consistency in the two round consulting results.Cr=(Ca + Cs)/2=(0.73+ 0.92)/2= 0.83. According to Cr≥0.70,the experts’ authority is high.In the two round expert questionnaires, the average importance value were 3.29 ~5.00 and 4.06~5.00.The standard deviation were 0.25~1.09 and 0~0.30.(The measure standard of mean number and standard deviation were 3.5 and 0.7.) It showed that experts’ opinions more and more concentrated. The coefficient of variation were 0.10~0.18 and0 ~ 0.12. Using 0.25 as a measure standard, experts’ opinions were consistent and the results were reliable.Based on this, the prognostic scale was formed by 8 dimensions and34 items.2. Taking a pre-investigation on 170 clinical nursing staff by using the prognostic scale. After the item selection, the standard deviation of 34 items are less than 0.75,in which the critical ratio of entry 27 is CR=2.189(<3).The correlation coefficient of entry 31 is r=0.328(<0.35).Therefore, on the basis of deleting entry 27 and entry 31, the formal questionnaires was formed including 8 dimensions and 32 items.3. Taking a investigation on 350 clinical nursing staff by using the formal scale. The result is that the total scale’s Cronbach’a coefficient was 0.851, split-half reliability was0.744, test-retest reliability was 0.893. It means that the scale has a favorable consistency and stability. In the respect of validity evaluation, 8 common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis. The cumulative contribution of variance accounted to 67.508%.The factor loading of each item is more than 0.4,and there has no item that two factors have the same load. The confirmatory factor analysis shows that χ2/df=2.214,TLI=0.956,CFI=0.892,RMSEA=0.061.According to the canonical result, all of them met the need of surveying. Conclusion:The scale had good reliability and validity. Not only can provide basis for nursing managers to evaluate the first-aid ability of clinical nursing staff accurately, but also provide reference for clinical to train it.
