Effect Of Atorvastatin On Oxidative Stress And Aorta Endothelial Function In Mice With Ulcerative Colitis

Objective:To explore the effect of Atorvastatin on oxidative stress and aorta endothelial function in mice with ulcerative colitis induced by DSS.Methods:27 clean C57BL/6 mice(weight:20±2g) were randomly divided into 3 groups,the normal group(n=9),model group(n=9),atorvastatin drug interventional group(n=9).Give the normal group distilled water to drink freely,at the same time give equal amount of normal saline to fill the stomach daily.Give the model group and atorvastatin drug interventional group 2% DSS solution to drink freely,at the same time give model group equal amount of normal saline to fill the stomach daily,give atorvastatin drug interventional group atorvastatin(10mg/kg.d) 0.3ml/d to fill the stomach,once a day.After the treatment,observe the intetinal tissue in mice by HE pathological morphological changes,detect the level of serum MDA and SOD and NO,and detect the level of e NOS by immunohistochemical method.Results:1. Compared with normal group,the model group mice with ulcerative colitis intestine tissue have inflammational change.The levels of MDA was significantly increased,and the level of SOD and NO and e NOS were significantly lower,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Compared with model group,atorvastatin drug interventional group reduce theintestinal inflammation performance,and The levels of MDA was significantly lower,and the level of SOD and NO and e NOS were significantly increased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Atorvastatin can reduce inflammation and injury of colon tissue in mice with ulcerative colitis and play a protective role in it.2.Atorvastatin can reduce oxidative stress and improve aorta endothelial function in mice with ulcerative colitis significantly.
