Objective:to observe the clinilal effect of qushitongluo combined with external application therapy for knee osteoarthritis with synovitis.Methods:a total of 60 patients with knee joint inflammatory synovitis from March 2014 to February 2015 in jiangsu province hospital outpatient and inpatient, according to the randomized and single-blind controlled design principles, were observed. The assesments of patients about their knee joint symptoms and signs improvment were made before and after the use department agreement "qushitongluo" medicine, the agent of "fractures" number one plaster external treatment and the use of the two combined treatment.Results:all 60 cases from jiangsu province hospital orthopaedic outpatient and inpatient, March 2014 months to February 2015, all of them has been diagnosed and treated in line with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,60 patients with knee osteoarthritis with synovitis joint were randomly divided into control group (qushitongluo group, external application therapy group), a treatment group (combination group),20 cases in each group, patients in two groups with general information (gender, age, course of the disease, illness) by statistical software analysis had no significant difference. Qushitongluo group in the department agreement Chinese medicine decoction,1/day, by several times of oral day and night; external application therapy group to plaster external fractures,1,1 times/day; For traditional Chinese medicine treatment group take orally with plaster connection pooling, three groups of treatment time were 30 days. The improvment on knee symptoms and signs of patients in three groups were observed before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed by SPSS 16.0 software. Two groups of measuring and data comparison with Wilcoxon rank and inspection, three sets of measurement and data comparison with Kruskal Wallis H-check grade, with mean±standard error (x±s) said, P< 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Conclusion:for patients with knee joint pain, swelling, activities adverse symptoms such as symptoms and signs were significantly improved after treated by Qushitongluo combined with external application therapy. The two combined treatment effect was better than the control group, compared with the pure external application therapy, but it had no obvious advantage. Therapeutic safety in three groups were all high.
