Purpose:To observe the effects of ordinary acupuncture and embedding simple obesity (Spleen dampness type), and evaluate the efficacy and safety of differences, in order to provide clinical basis for optimizing a better treatment.Methods:72patients were randomly divided into catgut implantation group (treatment group) and acupuncture group (control group), each of the group contained36patients. Same Acupuncture point were selected in both groups. acupuncture treatment.3times each week. The catgut implantation group treatment1time each week. totally4weeks. Body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference and waist-hip ratio were observed before and after treatment, evaluate the efficacy of the difference between the two groups.Result:1. Two groups based on gender, age, course of disease and state of obesity (including Body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference and waist-hip ratio) had no statistically significant differences (P>0.05), with comparability.2. Two groups each based on Body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference and waist-hip ratio before and after had significant differences compared with their own(P<0.01).3. After4weeks of treatment comparison groups:two groups of weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Ordinary acupuncture and catgut implantation method for simple obesity (Spleen Dampness) both have curative effects2catgut implantation method has a higher than normal efficiency acupuncture simple obesity (spleen dampness type). Security3. Two treatment methods are better compliance.3.Both of the two methods had a safe curative effect and good compliance in patients.
