| Objective: To observe the difference of Immediate analgesia effect of acupuncturefor primary dysmenorrhea with guan yuan(CV4) and guan yuan,san yin jiao(SP6) and todiscuss relationship of synergy or antagonism of guan yuan and san yin jiao for primarydysmenorrhea as to provide clinical evidence for the best acupuncture prescriptions.Methods:60patients of primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into three differentgroups, guan yuan, guan yuanã€san yin jiao and blank control. To observe the changes ofpain visual analogue scale (Visual Analogue Scale,VAS) and short form McGill painquestionnaire(SF-MPQ) with time of three groups before and after acupuncture and tocompare the differences among three groups. Results: Both groups were significantlydifferent (P<0.05) in VAS and SF-MPQ after acupuncture treatment comparing beforetreatment. Within30min,the difference of two acupuncture groups was not obviously inVAS(P>0.05).Analgesia effect between two acupuncture groups is different fromfinishing acupuncture60minã€90min and120min(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncturecan significantly reduce the pain and overall discomfort of primary dysmenorrhea in clinic.2.The combination between guan yuan and san yin jiao tends to be better than guan yuanwhen pain occurs. There may be a collaborative relationship between guan yuan and sanyin jiao. |
