Introduction Of Treating Peripheral Facial Paralysis With Retro Auricular Pain By Using Blood-letting Puncture And Cupping

Object:Comparing the effect of hormone therapy with the effect of bloodletting therapy, thisresearch aims to find a better therapy for the pain behind ear symptom of peripheralfacial paralysis in acute period.Method:60cases of peripheral facial paralysis are randomly divided into two groups,treatmentgroup and control group. For treatment group, patients are treated by electroacupunctureand bloodletting therapy around Yifeng point.For control group, patients are treated byelectroacupuncture and hormone therapy. Evaluate the effect of these two groups andanalyze the data with statistical software.Result:1.There is significant difference before and after bloodletting therapy(P<0.05).So ishormone therapy.2.There is significant difference between these two therapies in thedisappearing time of pain behind ear(χ2=0.577,P<0.05).3.The recovery rate of one monthand three months in treatment group are much better than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both bloodletting therapy and hormone therapy are effective.2.the disappearing timeof pain behind ear in treatment group is shorter than that in control group.3.Comparedwith hormone therapy, bloodletting therapy is more effective.
