Objective: The purpose of this study is to learn the cognition of the neonatal nursing status for Obstetricin the general hospitals of Xinjiang.By investigating and analyzing the cognition of the parturients onneonatal nursing knowledge, the satisfaction of newborn care services, we try to find out its maininfluencing factors, in order to provide references for improving the quality of neonatal nursing forObstetric in Hospital.Methods:The study was conducted by use of the questionnaire of the neonatal nursing knowledge andsatisfaction newborn, and then inter review parturients,investigate the hospitals.330parturients were allfrom two general hospitals of Xinjiang.We use EpiData3.1software to establish a database.All data wereanalyzed by using the SPSS17statistical software. The main statistical methods inclued frequency, percen-tage,χ S, x2test, ANOVA,Multiple linear regression, Pearson regression.Results:1.The score of Neonatal nursing knowledge was (16.76±4.46).The main knowledge acquiringmodels of Parturient came from health education during the period of nursing staff in hospital(69.4%)、theexperience of others(54.2%) and books (51.2%).The Neonatal nursing knowledge was significantdifference in Parturient with different educational levels、race、parity、income and influence of healtheducation during the period of nursing staff in hospital.2.The score of Neonatal nursing satisfaction was(73.33±17.99). Each entry score: nursing skills (74.55±18.56), the guide of feeding(73.76±22.57)neonatal nursing services provided by the hospital (2.61±18.22),the guide of maternal newborn careskills(72.55±22.36),place and method of the newborn in bath(71.09±20.97).The satisfaction ofNeonatal nursing was significant difference in Parturient with different ages、educational levels(P <0.05).3.One hospital has40bed, the ratio is1:0.4; another hospital has53bed, the ration is1:0.45.Conclusion:1.The survey suggests that the cognition level of neonatal nursing knowledge is the lower andthe cognition level is greatly affected by educational levels、race、parity、income and influence of healtheducation during the period of nursing staff in hospital. The health education and measures of Neonatalcare can not meet the demand of Parturient.2.The survey suggests that the cognition level of neonatalnursing satisfaction is the lower and the cognition level is greatly affected by hospital、ages、educationallevels. The Neonatal Nursing can not meet the demand of parturient.
