The Study Of Ancient Medical Literature On The Atending Application Of Yanglingquan(GB34) Acupoint

Objective: This study aims to provide theoretical and practical basis for spectrum ofdiseases that Yang Lingquan(GB34) acupoint can cure and clinical application andscientific research by summarizing and analyzing the descriptions of diseases that YangLingquan(GB34) acupoint can cure from ancient medical literatures.Methods:Taking “ChineseMediealClassies” which is published by electroniecaudio-visual publishing houses in Hunan as our database source.“Yang Lingquan”,“Yangzhi lingquan”as keywords,get the relevant clauses referring to the applieationcompatibility about Yang Lingquan(GB34). Then sorted the descriptions into twocategories, the diseases that suitable for the applying of Yang Lingquan(GB34) acupointonly and the diseases that suitable for the applying of Yang Lingquan(GB34) acupoint withother acupoints. Then inputted the descriptions into the computer to establish our data bank.Then analyze the data again and sort them into7families such as internalmedicine,surgery,gynecology, pediatries, ophthalmology,ENT and orthopedic.Thenbrought forward the spectrum of diseases that Yang Lingquan(GB34) acupoint can cure bysummarizing and analyzing the data we have got.Results: There were456clauses and65books after sifting the ancient medicalliterature.Yang Lingquan(GB34) acupoint alone can be applied to16kinds ofdiseases.The combination of Yang Lingquan(GB34) acupoint and other acupoints can beapplied to35kinds of diseases.Eliminated8kinds of diseases that are repeated,and thesupplied4kinds of disease in medical records of clinical cases we concluded that there are47kinds of diseases that Yang Lingquan(GB34) acupoint can cure.At the same time,thisstudy also summarized the operational methods,the consilia,the acupuncture combined with medicine and the taboo of acupuncture and so on.This research provides a model forthe suitable diseases of acupuncture andmoxibustion,of the acupoints.
