Purpose:By researching the antihypertensive effect of Huotan Xifeng Tongluo decoction for the clinical use of RH, the study is to observe a safe and effective treatment, to choose the traditional Chinese medicine dialectically for the treatment of refractory hypertension and to provide new clinical datas and research methods.Method:In the research,we select 60 cases since 2013.03 to 2014.12 who were patients in Changchun university of Chinese medicine.All the cases admit to the standard of RH.We divided the patients randomly into the control group and the treatment one. treatment group has 28 cases while 29 cases in the other one. The control group were given diuretic+ACEI/ARB+CCB,hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg/d, valsartan 80-160 mg/d, nifedipine retard-20 tablet 30-60 mg/d were recommended. Treatment group were given the same one, while giving Huotan Xifeng Tongluo decoction,drinks 1 pay, 2 times/d.Result:For the time of 1 week, 2 weeks, 6 weeks, the SBP and DBP of the control group ecxeeds the group using TCM.In the decline of DBP 、the reduction of SBP, the pulse pressure,the datas of the TCM group is better than the other,by the statistical analysis,the two groups were different(P < 0.05).In thet group with TCM,the ineffective cases is 4, the clinical efficiency was 85.7% in all.In the other one, it was 58.6% with 17 effective patients.By the statistical analysis,the datas of the two groups was different(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Huotan Xifeng Tongluo decoction for the treatment of refractory hypertension with syndrome of phlegm blocking blood stasis is effective which is worth promoting.
