Solitary Fibrous Tumor Of The Pleura Diagnosis And Treatment

Objective:Discussion solitary fibrous tumor (solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura, SFTP) diagnosis and treatment methods for the clinical treatment of solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura to provide a basis.Methods:A retrospective analysis of Shandong University Qilu Hospital from November 2012 to January 2014 diagnosed 11 cases of clinical data in patients with solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura was observed in all patients diagnosis and treatment, and outlines its summary. All patients underwent chest CT scan, and after removal of tissue for immunohistochemical examination.Results:13 patients whose immunohistochemical examination showed the tumor cells expressed CD34, Vimentin and bcl1-2, and CKpa、NSE、SMA、EMA were negative, 2 patients see CD99-positive; 11 patients surgical treatment is good, and after a good recovery, including two cases of postoperative pulmonary metastasis.Conclusions:Immunohistochemical diagnosis has important value SFTP disease, early diagnosis, early treatment has an important value for SFTP, and surgery is the best method of treatment of STFP.
