The Effect Of Tong Du Tiao Shen Acupuncyure Treatment On The Erp P300 Level Of Patients With Vcind

ObjectiveVCIND is a condition at risk for future dementia and should be diagnosed and treated timely to curb this. Early clinical evidence confirmed that acupuncture is an effective treatment way on VCIND patients.MMSE and Mo CA scale were used to detect whether Tong Du Tiao Shen acupuncture method is valid for enhancing cognitive function and quality of life for patients with VCIND. The change of ERP-P300 latency and amplitude after Tong Du Tiao Shen acupuncture treatment will be observed on patients with VCIND in order to provide clinical evidence and explore safe-effective way to diagnose and treat VCIND.MethodsSixty-there cases were randomly divided into 2 groups, with 32 in the acupuncture-medicine group and 31 in the medicine group. On the basis of routine medical therapy, the medicine group used oral Oxiracetam Capsules and the acupuncture-medicine group included Tong Du Tiao Shen acupuncture for a course of8 weeks. The changes of scores for MMSE and Mo CA were investigated, and P300 was checked before and after treatment in both groups. The two sets of data were tested by statistical analysis to appreciate the efficacy of treatment method about these two groups.Results1.Before treatment, there was no statistical significance(P<0.05) in two groups on the differences of MMSE, Mo CA scores in terms of naming, language fluency and abstract thinking comparative. But the visual space and execute ability components show that Mo CA score was lower obviously than MMSE score, meanwhile the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.MMSE and Mo CA scores increased in two groups after 8 weeks of treatment,and scores of the acupuncture-medicine group increased more than the control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).3.The two groups manifested shorter latency and higher amplitude on P300 after treatment, and the differences were significant(P<0.05).Comparison between groups shows that P300 latency shortened more obviously in the acupuncture-medicine group(P<0.05).At the same time, P300 amplitude increased more significantly than the medicine group(P<0.05).4.P300 latency and amplitude were analyzed to assess their correlation with MMSE and Mo CA scores by correlation analysis before and after treatment in both groups. Results suggest that two scores were negatively correlated with P300 latency,and positively correlated with amplitude.5.The total effective rates in the acupuncture-medicine group and medicine group were 93.75% and70.96% respectively which with a significant difference by chi-square analysis(P<0.05), indicating that the curative effect of the acupuncturemedicine group was better than the medicine group.Conclusion1.The Mo CA is more sensitive than the commonly used MMSE in detecting VCIND. It is a better choice when screening VCIND patients.2.ERP-P300 check can objectively reflect the degree of early cognitive dysfunction on VCIND patients. It is beneficial for early diagnosis of cognitive dysfunction.3.Increased use of Tong Du Tiao Shen acupuncture method can improve the cognitive function in patients with VCIND, and the curative effect is superior to the group with only medicine treatment.□□...
