| In China, public hospitals are the main body of the medical service system. With the deepening of China’s medical and health system reform, and gradually broadening the coverage of medical security system, the public’s demand for medical services has increasing year by year. The load capacity of the public medical service faces a tough test. With the limited resources, providing safe medical, expanding medical service scope, making more and more patients share efficient medical service is the most important problem to the public hospitals. The informalization construction of China’s public hospitals began in the 1980s. After 30 Years’ development, it’s obvious that the public hospital made a great achievement in reducing the amount of medical work, using the medical information storage electronically, improving the hospitalized convenience, etc. However, due to many restrictions such as the level of awareness, technical means, level of economic development and so on, the informalization construction of China’s public hospitals did not centre on patients, and did not break through organizational structure. It gave rise to the weakness in the current interaction ability of information system and sharing ability, lacking the ability to integrate and mine data deeply. The support of public hospital management for information system will be increased and the refinement of the services to patients will be improved. On the basis of studying the process reengineering theory, the government business process reengineering, value chain theory, coordination theory and the theory of hospital informalization, the author sorts out the practical course of hospital process reengineering at home and abroad, the history of the Chinese public hospital informalization process reengineering. On the premise Of defining the dominant position of public hospitals in China’s medical system, the author puts forward the definition, the main functions, the development status and the main structure of key business process reengineering in public hospitals. What’s more, the author takes R hospital (the top three hospital), the largest scale of operation and the largest number of beds in Lanzhou, Gansu, as an example. Based on the informalization construction in the hospital, the author combines a new design and systematic transformation method with the frontier informalization technology to the hospital outpatient, hospitalization, testing, inspection and other key process reengineering, and analyzes the results. Finally, the author proposes the optimal measures of informalization process reengineering in public hospitals and provides a reference to the process reengineering in public hospitals. |
