| ObjectiveTo discuss the therapeutic effects of Wuxing Music combined with walking training on pulmonary rehabilitation in stable patients with COPD. After three months’ intervention, observe the Influence on lung function, six-minute-walk distance, symptom of dyspnea and quality of life, so as to provide clinical and theoretical basis for the treatment.Methods60 objects were brought into our study according to the diagnosis and reception criterion. They were randomly divided into two groups,30 in experimental group and the other 30 in control group. All objects received routine treatment and health education, the control group only receive walking training while objects who in experimental group receive Wuxing Music combined with walking training for 3months, once per-day and 30 minutes everytime, five times a week. We observed and recorded the lung function, six-minute-walk distance, symptom of dyspnea and quality of life before and after intervention as well as 3 months over the research.Results1. Baseline ComparisonThere was no significant difference in the general condition (age, sex and degree of education, etc), basic clinical data (course of disease, The severity of the disease, medication and complication, etc) between groups before intervention(P>0.05), the two groups were comparable. Also, there was no significant difference in lung function, six-minute-walk distance, degree of dyspnea and quality of life (P>0.05), the two groups were comparable. Compare the time that patients watching or listening to music or taking a walk beyond the intervention, there was also no significant difference between groups (P>0.05). It showed that the two groups were comparable.2. Lung functionAfter 3 months of intervention, Comparison of the related parameters of lung function, such as FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, FEV1% itself before and after intervention, shows that there are no statistical difference in both groups(P>0.05). Comparison of the lung function between the two groups after intervention also shows that there is no statistical difference. It proved that Wuxing Music and walking training can not improve the patients’ lung function, but it can slow down the decline of pulmonary function further.3. Exercise tolerance (six-minute-walk distance)A significant change in six-minute-walk distance in the two groups was found after 3 months of intervention (P<0.01). After intervention the patients’6 minutes walking distance increased in the two groups. But compare to the two groups, the experimental group have more influential then the control group, and the significant diffierence was found between the two groups (P<0.01).4. Symptom of dyspneaAfter 3 months of intervention, there were significant decreases in MRC dyspnea score in both groups(P<0.01). It shows that degree of dyspnea relieved after the intervention. But there was no significant difference between experimental group and control group(P>0.05).5. Quality of life (CAT scores)After 3 months of intervention, there were significant decreases in CAT scores in both groups(P<0.01). It shows that the patients’ quality of life has been improved after the intervention. And there was significant difference between experimental group and control group(P<0.05).Conclusion1. Wuxing Music combined with walking training can effectively enhance the exercise tolerance, improve the quality of life, improve the degree of dyspnea in stable patients with COPD. Wuxing Music has a rehabilitation effect on stable patients with COPD, it is worth clinical popularizing and application.2. Walking training can effectively enhance the exercise tolerance, improve the quality of life, improve the degree of dyspnea in stable patients with COPD, has a positive effect on the effect of pulmonary rehabilitation in stable patients with COPD.3. Wuxing Music combined with walking training effect on the patient’s exercise tolerance and quality of life are better than the control group that only take walking training. Wuxing Music can play the Chinese medical characteristics, optimization the effect of exercise training rehabilitation. |
