But their existence may cause non-ignorable influence on adolescent female and middle-aged women on their health and psychology.Estrogen and prolactin play an important role in the proliferation and differentiation of normal breast epithelium. It is debated what kind of role prolactin plays in etiology of tumorigenesis. The elevation of serum prolacin level may have promotion effect in the process of benign breast diseases. Objective It is a prospective study involving female patients with fibroadenoma or denosis and normal female. The investigation is to compare the concentration of estrogen and prolactin in the blood among these three kind of people and to explore the correlation between estrogen, prolactin level and the occurring of fibroadenoma and adenosis. It is also aimed at comparing the ages of fibroadenoma and adenosis patients. And explore the promising method of treatment of fibroadenoma(FA).Method Collect patients with a preoperative diagnose of fibroadenoma, who underwent minimally invasive surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University between October 2012 and December 2014. The total number is 458. Blood was taken before the surgery to test the concentration of estrodiol(E2) and prolactin(PRL) and record. The patients were classified by final pathological diagnosis to two groups, group A is patients with fibroadenoma and group B is patients with adenosis. Within the patients with FA, monofibroadenoma was identified as group A1 as multiple fibroadenoma(MFA) was identified as group A2. 58 normal women were collected from outpatients, who has negtive imaging test result of breast to be group C as control group. Patients of group C were taken blood at the same way. The data was managed and under analysis by SPSS 17.0. α=0.05. To explore i. Was there statistical difference between the three group regarding to the level of E2 and PRL? ii. was there statistical difference between group A1 and group A2 regarding to the level of E2 and PRL? iii. was there statistical difference between the age of group A and group B?Results The final evaluation of cases were 262 cases in Group A, the median age was 32 years, 198 cases in Group B, the median age was 40 years, 58 cases in Group C, the median age was 36 years. There were 163 cases in Group A1 and 99 cases in Group A2.The age factor and the level of E2 and PRL of three groups’ data was not conforming to normal distribution.1ã€The concentration of E2 among the three groups had no statistical difference(P=0.651), the median was 90.685pg/ml.2ã€The concentration of PRL among the three groups had significant statistical difference(P<0.001). Comparison between any two groups match shew significant statistical difference(P<0.001). The normal range of PRL of non-pregnant female was 4.79-23.3ng/ml.Group A had highest PRL level, the median was 55.985ng/ml,group B had moderate PRL level, the median was 24.29ng/ml, group C had the lowest PRL level, the median was 14.955ng/ml.3ã€The E2 level between Group A1 and A2 had no statistical difference(P=0.249), but the PRL level between A1 and A2 had statistical difference(P=0.012).The Group A2, which was the group of MFA had higher level of PRL.4ã€The age of Group A and Group B had significant statistical difference(P<0.001).Conclusion 1.There is positive correlation between the morbidity of FA and adenosis and the concentration of PRL in blood.2.The MFA patients have higher PRL level than patients had monofibroadenoma, which suggest high level of PRL could accelerate the progress of fibroadenoma. 3.The patients with FA is younger than those with breast adenosis. It means the morbidity of FA is earlier in female.4.There is no correlation between E2 level and the morbidity of FA and breast adenosis. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | breast fibroadenoma, adenosis, prolactin, estradiol, multiple, correlation | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
