The Research On Maintenance Decision Of Medical Equipment Based On RCM

As more and more medical equipments have been used in hospitals, how toensure the safe and reliable operation of medical equipments has become an importanttask faced by medical institutions. According to the above problem, the defects of thepresent medical equipment maintenance management mode were analyzed in the lightof the current status of international researches. The Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM) theory was introduced to improve the present medical equipment maintenancemode and the corresponding repair schemes and suggestions were formulated basedon analysis of mode and affect of the medical equipmentFirst of all, the relevant concepts of basic principles and implementation steps inRCM theory were introduced in this paper. Then the concept of “Critical Degree” ofmedical equipments was put forwarded based on the RCM theory. A critical degreemodel based on Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method was established todetermine the relative weights of each level. The normalization method was adoptedto calculate the weight of relative strength in order to figure out the critical degree ofmedical equipments. An effective division among various kinds of medicalequipments was realized with the application of the critical degree mode in order tosave maintenance resources. The RCM theory was further applied to PB840ventilatoras an example of the medical equipment with high critical degree. Its FunctionallySignificant Items(FSI) were determined and analyzed by the method of Failure Modeand Effect Analysis(FMEA). The maintenance mode of FSI was obtained accordingto the result of logic decision. Finally, we establish a mathematical model of regularcheck and replacement intervals, and calculate the maintenance interval of therelevant parts of PB840ventilator to formulate a maintenance plan.The research content of this paper will have a positive effect on hospital medicalequipments maintenance mode, and promote the level of hospital medical equipmentmaintenance.
