Clinical Trial Research To Yunling Capsule’s Clinical Treatment Of Qi-yin Deficiency Of Gastrointestinal Tumor

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Yunling Capsule’s clinical treatment of qi-yin deficiency of gastrointestinal tumor. Methods:90patients suffering from qi-yin deficiency after gastrointestinal tumor chemotherapy from the Oncology Department of Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Xinjiang Medical University from September,2010to September,2013were divided into two groups using the randomized control method. The patients in treatment group took4Yunling Capsules orally3times daily continuously for8weeks. Patents in control group received the conventional treatment. Conditions of patients were recorded before the treatment, and in the first, fourth and eighth weeks in treatment respectively, including TCM clinical symptoms, tongue vein, KPS, weight, blood routine, liver and kidney function and ECG. The data were analyzed statistically using statistical software SPSS17.0to evaluate the efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine Yunling Capsule for qi-yin deficiency of gastrointestinal tumor. Results:After the treatment of Yunling Capsule, the treatment group shows improvements in living quality KPS, peripheral blood cell analysis, tumor marker and other observation indexes with a significant difference (P<0.05). Taking Yunling Capsule after gastrointestinal tumor chemotherapy, patients don’t show side effects such as nausea, emesis, chest stuffiness, drowsiness or rash. Symptoms such as fever, dizzy and weakness decrease, and the Capsule has no obvious damage to blood system, gastrointestinal tract and liver&kidney functions. Although the Capsule hasn’t go through an animal experiment on pharmacology and toxicology, the drugs used in formulation have no toxic or side effect. Conclusion:Yunling Capsule can improve the TCM clinical symptoms of patients suffering from gastrointestinal tumor (qi-yin deficiency), reduce the toxic and side effects after gastrointestinal tumor (qi-yin deficiency) chemotherapy and improve patients’living and life qualities without any toxic or side effects. It can improve patients’tolerance to chemotherapy and reduce the toxicity and enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy.
