objective:To understand the current situation and influencing factors of health knowledge and health-related behaviors among urban community residents, and to provide evidences for formulating measures of health education, conducting interventional studies and improving the level of residents’health knowledge and health-related behaviors. Methods:Face to face interview was conducted among3274urban community residents randomly selected. T-test、ANOVA and Chi-square test were used to test the difference of health knowledge and health-related behaviors among people stratified by demographic characteristics. Non-conditional logistic regression models (Method=Back Ward:LR, αin=0.05,αout=0.05) were used to assess the possible influencing factors of residents’health knowledge and health-related behaviors. Results:Among the3274respondents,the awareness rate of health knowledge and the health-related behavior formation rate were76.0%and39.0%respectively, both rates of male were lower than which of female (75.8%vs76.1%,35.7%vs42.3%)。The pass rates of health knowledge and health-related behaviors were78.9%and7.8%, respectively. Data from univariate analysis showed that, the pass rates of health knowledge on those who were less than30years old, whose education degree were junior college or above, who were knowledge workers and who took part in medical insurance were82.9%、89.2%、83.6%、80.2%and80.0%respectively, which were higher than the other residents (P<0.05).The pass rates of health-related behaviors on those who were female, who were more than70years old, whose education degree were junior college or above, who were knowledge workers and who took part in medical insurance were10.4%,17.0%,10.5%,12.2%and9.1%respectively, which were higher than the other residents (P<0.05). Multi-factor unconditioned logistic regression analysis results show that female, high education degree and be married improve residents’ health knowledge level; Manual workers health behavior is relatively low, the health behavior of female, be elderly and high education degree is relatively high. Conclusions:The level of health knowledge and the status of health-related behavior the of the urban community residents in surveyed areas were unsatisfactory. More attention should be payed to the influence factors of health knowledge and health-related behaviors. Necessary health educational intervention should be taken in order to improve the level of residents’health knowledge, Reducing the occurrence of the residents’ health risk behaviors and promote the health of the residents.
