ObjectiveTo explore the clinical characteristics of infant cytomegalovirushepatitis by compare clinic data, labtory data and prognosis of cholestatictype and hepatitis type.Methods134cases of infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis patients wereretrospectively analyzed in our hospital from January1,2011to June30,2013.134cases were divided to two groups according to their clinicalfeatures. There were82cases of cholestatic type and52cases of hepatitistype. Clinic data, labtory data and prognosis were analyzed retrospectively.Results1. Hepatosplenomegaly, coagulation dysfunction and low weight weresignificant abnormal (All P=0.00) in group of cholestatic type. Fever wassignificant abnormal (p=0.00) in group of hepatitis type. There were noobvious difference by anorexia, pneumonia, anemia, myocardial damage, thrombocytopenia, hearing impairment occurded in two groups(All P>0.05).2. In group of cholestatic type,61/82cases was given antiviral therapywith ganciclovir while21/82cases was given symptomatic treatment. Aftertreatment, the ALT, AST, TBIL and DBIL were significant decreased inganciclovir treatment group. There was no difference with γ-GT. Aftertreatment, the TBIL and DBIL were significant difference in symptomatictreatment group and there was no significant difference with ALT, AST,γ-GT.3. In group of hepatitis type,18/52cases of hepatitis type was givenantiviral therapy with ganciclovir while34cases was given symptomatictreatment. After treatment, the ALT, AST and γ-GT were significantdecreased in ganciclovir treatment group. The ALT, AST, γ-GT had adownward trend, but without statistical significance in Symptomatictreatment.ConclusionJaundice was the complain for most of cholestatic type cases whileabnormal liver function was the complain for most hepatitis type. Caseswith cholestatic type occurred more liver splenomegaly, low weight andblood coagulation dysfunction than hepatitis type. Stools in light colorsonly appears in infants with cholestatic type. Some of infants in two groupscan be complicated with anorexia, pneumonia, anemia, myocardial damage, thrombocytopenia and hearing impairment. Most of the infants with goodprognosis, and a few died of severe cholestasis and liver failure.
