Objective: To investigate the effects of cytomegalovirus infection-related hepatitis and ganciclovir on infant growth and development. And to analyze the risk factors that affect the weight and length of children with Infantile hepatitis syndrome.Methods:1.This study used a retrospective clinical trial design. All 83 children diagnosed with infantile hepatitis syndrome between December 2013 and July 2018 were divided into observation group and control group. The control group was children with non-cytomegalovirus infection, and the observation group was children with cytomegalovirus infection. The growth and development level indicators(length, weight,BMI,etc.)of the children in these two control trials at the 1-year cutoff point were recorded and analyzed. The growth and development of the observation group was significantly different from that of the control group.2.59 children diagnosed with cytomegalovirus infection were divided into observation group and control group according to whether ganciclovir was given treatment. The control group did not use ganciclovir and used conventional treatment, while the observation group used ganciclovir induction period treatment and a maintenance period of not more than 2 weeks. The difference in growth index of 1-year-old cut-off point between the two groups was analyzed.Results:1.Evidence that the presence of cytomegalovirus infection in infant hepatitis syndrome has no significant effect on the growth and development level of children at the 1-year-old cut-off point(P> 0.05).2.After cytomegalovirus-associated hepatitis was given ganciclovir treatment, there was no significant difference in growth and development indicators at 1 year of age(P> 0.05).Conclusions:1.Cytomegalovirus infection has no significant effect on the growth and development of children with infantile hepatitis syndrome.2.Ganciclovir treatment has no significant inhibitory effect on the growth and development of children with cytomegalovirus infection.3.TBA and TBIL as risk factors may have an impact on the growth and development of children with hepatitis syndrome at the 1-year cut-off point.
