Investigation On Awareness、Demand And Satisfaction Of Inpatient On High Quality Nursing Service

Objective:This study aims to understand the status of hospitalized patients’ awareness, needs, satisfaction and related influence factors on "quality care demonstration project "(referred to as high quality nursing care), according to the survey problems, improve the content of high quality nursing service, and put forward the corresponding suggestions and measures for improvement, in order to promote the further development of high quality nursing service.Methods:Adopt randomized cluster sampling method to select300hospitalized patients of a top three hospital in Kunming as research subjects, design questionnaire on hospitalized patients’awareness, needs and satisfaction of high quality nursing care base on consulting literature and experts, data obtained using SPSS17.0software for statistical description and analysis.Results:1. Hospitalized patients’awareness of quality care is72.6%. Influence factors of hospitalized patients on high quality nursing care awareness are the culture degree, occupation and days of hospitalization mainly. In addition, an important reason which affects the inpatients’awareness is the nurses informing and the hospital propaganda efforts of "high quality nursing care".2. The investigate-hospital’patients accompany rate is as high as93%, patients at-titude to "cancelling the accompanist",56%of the patients are willing to cooper-ate,44%of the patients are not willing to cooperate.3. The status survey of cognition and requirement of hospitalized patients on high quality of nursing service showed that97.51%of the patients considered that the service attitude is very important,95.73%of the patients considered that responsible for the work is very important,95.02%of the patients thought that professional technology is very important,82.21%of patients considered that the health education is also very important. Patients’attention degree on psycho-logical nursing and humanistic care is not high, accounting for61.92%and54.80%respectively. The support rate below50%is the basic nursing and life nursing, respectively45.20%and40.57%.4. Patients’opinion on the high quality nursing service content for their order of importance are:the first is the professional knowledge, the second is the service attitude, the third is the serious and responsible work attitude, the fourth and fifth are both the health guidance.5. The overall satisfaction of patients on high quality of nursing service is that the average score is8.77±1.29(total score10points), the overall satisfaction rate is94.79%. The various dimensions satisfaction rates of high quality nursing service content are that the serious and responsible work attitude is98.96%, the service attitude is97.73%, the professional knowledge and technology is95.22%, the environment of ward is94.46%, the humanistic care is94.13%, the health guidance is92.27%, the basic life care is90.75%. The influencing factors of patients on high quality of nursing service satisfaction include culture degree, service attitude, serious and responsible work attitude, ward environ-ment, professional knowledge and technology, humanistic care and health guidance, etc. The service attitude influence the patients’satisfaction maximum of all.Conclusions:1. Inpatients’awareness of high quality nursing care is not high, mainly due to the patient’s educational level, occupation, days of hospitalization and the less efforts of nurse informing and hospital propaganda.2. Hospitalized patients accompany rate are high,"unaccompanied" is difficult to achieve in a short period of time.3. Patients attach great importance to the nurse’service attitude, professional skills, work attitude and health guidance on the high quality of nursing care, so improving nurse’service attitude, enhancing nurse’professional technology, strengthening nurses’responsibility, making a good job of health education is the key work of the high quality nursing care.4. Patients’satisfaction on high quality of nursing service is higher, the various dimensions of the content satisfaction rate is higher too, while the basic life care is the lowest of all. Many factors affect the satisfaction of the patients, but the nurse service attitude are the first.
