Meanwhile, improvement proposals and methods were made to promote wider range application of Comfort Care Nursing system. At the same time discussing the inner link of Comfortable Care Nursing and the overall view of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Thus using the overall concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine to guide the Comfort Care Nursing. All the investigations and research has played a very important role to improve the comfortableness and satisfaction for the patients during their stay. This has the added benefit of creating an increased harmonious relationships between patients and the nursing staff who work with the patients.Material and method: One of the third level Grade A hospitals in Shenyang took part in this research. There were one hundred and fifty hospitalized patients from the hospital mentioned above, that were randomly selected for a group study. Validating this large amount of data and consulting with the experts in the field, we designed a questionnaire focusing on how much the patients knew about the Comfort Care Nursing and their needs and satisfactions for nursing methods. All the data gathered from the questionnaire were statistically recorded and analyzed by SPSS 17.0 software.Results:1.Questionnaires were sent out to one hundred and fifty qualified patients in hospital. We had one hundred and thirty two valid feedbacks. The efficient feedback rate is eighty eight percent(88%). 2.The recognition rate of the Comfort Care Nursing method among the patients is sixty four percent(64%). 3.We investigated about the recognition and needs of the Comfort Care Nursing method among the hospitalized patients. The results showed that eight four percent(84%) of patients valued the good environment of the ward. Eight seven percent(87%) of them valued good social relations the most important. Ninety three percent(93%) of the patients valued the psychological comforts the most important. Ninety six percent(96%) of the patients valued physical comforts the most important. On the contrary, the needs for basic and daily nursing were relatively low rated which were seventy percent(70%) and sixty three percent(63%). 4.The importance of Comfort Care Nursing to the patients were ranked No.1 physical comforts, No.2 psychological comforts, No.3 good conditioned ward, No.4 good social relations. 5.One hundred and thirty two hospitalized patients provided feedback on their satisfactions for Comfort Care Nursing method. The average score was 8.77(Full score is 10).The general satisfaction rate was 90.88%. From different angles to judge the Comfort Care Nursing methods, the results were psychological comforts 93%, physical comforts 91%, ward conditions 90.5%, and social relations 89%. Those factors which had influence in the Comfort Care Nursing were age, educations, medical insurances, family patterns, and family monthly incomes.Conclusion:1.Specially designed questionnaire with information about how hospitalized patients consider, require and satisfy about the Comfort Care Nursing has good creditability and efficiency. It can be used by the clinical nursing staff as measurement for the hospitalized patients’ satisfactions for the Comfort Care Nursing. 2.The reason why the hospitalized patients don’t highly value the Comfort Care Nursing method is that lack of promotion from the hospital and the information from the nursing staff. Therefore, the hospital should focus more on the promotions of Comfort Care Nursing and the nursing staff should make sure all the patients know about the Comfort Care Nursing during their visits. 3.The hospitalized patients consider that physical comforts is the most important part of the Comfort Care Nursing. The second important part is psychological comforts. The third is ward conditions and social relations. So the key part of the Comfort Care Nursing is to emphasize the satisfactions of physical comforts for the patients. 4.The hospitalized patients are highly satisfied with the Comfort Care Nursing service in general. And the satisfaction rate about different aspects of the service is also high. The influential factors of the satisfaction rates are age, educations, medical insurances, family patterns, and family monthly incomes. Therefore, we still need to make efforts to improve the Comfort Care Nursing service to meet the needs of different groups of patients. 5.Comfort Care Nursing match the Traditional Chinese Medicine which called the view of nature "nature and humanity" and the overall concept of "the unity of body and mind". Comfort Care Nursing also emphasized to understand human system, human health and disease.Targeted the implementation of the "body" and "heart" from two aspects of care. Under the guidance of Comfort Care Nursing in the overall concept.Using the syndrome differentiation of nursing theory and method. For patients to conduct a comprehensive, systematic and appropriate care.To meet the needs of patients.
