| ObjectiveIron deficiency anemia (Iron deficiency anemia, IDA) is one of the mo st common nutritional anemia, the existence of common around the world. F or the treatment of iron deficiency anemia, western medicine treatment wi th iron agent, and its interference in the intestinal absorption by vario us factors, the iron absorption efficiency is not high, and the patients can’t tolerate, is often difficult to achieve the ideal therapeutic effec t. And traditional Chinese medicine such as spleen-invigorating soup can correct the body pixu (spleen deficient) condition, improve hematopoiesis material absorption use disorder, thus blocking the anemia pathological change process, promote the recovery of hematopoietic function, studies h ave shown that spleen decoction can regulate the cerebral cortex function, and can increase the blood within the visible part, such as red blood ce lls, hemoglobin, platelet, with functions of enriching blood, hemostatic, certain drugs contain vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin C and iron, calcium, phosphorus, sugar, etc., for some bacteria have inhibition, that is owne d by spleen soup material foundation for the treatment of iron deficienc y anemia. Therefore through this research belongs to the spleen decoction combined polysaccharide iron compound in the treatment of iron deficienc y anemia, good curative effect and can reduce the side effects, to play a role to improve effect and decrease toxicity, hope can provide the treat ment of iron deficiency anemia with a safe and effective method.MethodsCollected from March2013to May2014, the first affiliated hospital of guangzhou university of TCM onset inpatient and outpatient treatment o f patients, according to the inclusion criteria to choose two qi type iro n deficiency anemia,34cases were divided into treatment group and contr ol group. Treatment group with oral spleen-invigorating soup combined pol ysaccharide iron compound, the control group given polysaccharide iron co mplex treatment. At the same time, the total number of red blood cells be fore and after medication, the quantity of hemoglobin, serum ferritin, re ticulocyte count, such as indicators, and TCM symptom score, clinical sym ptoms, related side effects were analyzed.Results1. Compared before and after treatment of red blood cell count, avera ge quantity of hemoglobin, red blood cell volume, average average amount of red blood cells, hemoglobin, red blood cell hemoglobin concentration i ndex (P<0.05), with statistical significance.2. Compared before and after treatment serum ferritin index (P>0.05), no statistical significance, but in the two groups respectively compa red before and after treatment serum ferritin index (P<0.05), with stat istical significance.3. Compared the two groups after treatment of TCM symptom score (P<0.05), with statistical significance.4. Compare two groups in the treatment of gastrointestinal side effec ts of the number of cases (P<0.05), with statistical significance.5. In the two groups after treatment in accordance with the western m edicine standard total cure rate was97.6%, control group total cure rate93.3%, compared to two group of western medicine cure rate (P>0.05), n o statistical significance. According to the standard of traditional Chin ese medicine, treatment group cure rate88.2%, control group82.3%(P>0.05), no statistical significance.ConelusionOn the basis of the traditional Chinese medicine dialectical, we adop t spleen-invigorating soup, on the basis of western medicine combined pol ysaccharide iron compound in the treatment of both qi type of iron defici ency anemia, and use of polysaccharide iron compound in the treatment of both qi type of ischemia comparison, found in the aspect of TCM clinical symptoms improved, the treatment group was better than control group, and according to the comparison of gastrointestinal reaction, the control gr oup than the treatment group. Statistics such as hemoglobin, red blood ce 11number before and after treatment according to the treatment group is better than that of control group, the results show that belongs to the s pleen decoction combined polysaccharide iron compound in the treatment of both qi type of iron deficiency anemia in higher hemoglobin and red bloo d cell is better than use polysaccharide iron compound. Compared before a nd after treatment serum ferritin index, found in the two groups was effe ctive, but there is no difference between two groups. According to wester n standard total cure rate was97.6%in both groups, control group total cure rate93.3%, according to the standard of traditional Chinese medicin e, treatment group cure rate88.2%, control group82.3%.
