Efficacy Evaluation Of Modified Submucous Resection Of Nasal Septum Combined Plasma Inferior Turbinate Ablation Under Endoscopic In The Treatment For Deviation Of Nasal Septum

ObjectiveTo assess the clinical effect of modified submucous resection of nasal septumcombined plasma inferior turbinate ablation under endoscopic in the treatment fordeviation of nasal septum.Methods44patients with deviation of nasal septum were selected randomly in the hospitalfrom December2010to December2012, who used modified submucous resection ofnasal septum combined plasma inferior turbinate ablation under endoscopic，Whichcould correct the nasal septum and ablate inferior turbinate hypertrophy. Patients wereregularly given scores to symptoms in headache, stuffy nose, runny nose from reflux,epistaxis. The scores were compared before and after treatment. SPSS16.0statisticalsoftware was used for data processing. Postoperative patients without improvementwere given nasal endoscopic examination and the reasons were analysised. ResultsAll of the44patients received survey. The result of to used subjective score: thesubjective score before operation is1.80±0.63; the subjective score after operation is0.14±0.41. P＜0.05.Improvement is obvious after operation. The result of to usedobjective score: the objective score before operation is2.11±0.32; the objective scoreafter operation is1.00±0.00. P＜0.05. Improvement is obvious after operation.ConclusionModified submucous resection of nasal septum combined plasma inferiorturbinate ablation under endoscopic in the treatment for deviation of nasal septum areeffective methods, which has significant clinical effect. Symptom scores can be usedin postoperative treatment effect evaluation, which has the advantages of simpleoperation, easy for patients to accept.
