| Myzus persicae is the main pest of tobacco, it occurred in all over the tabacco producing areas of Sichuan,which was serious influenced on tobacco production and leaf quality.Chemical control is the main method, it will enhance pesticide residue and pest resistance; on the other hand, the quality and safety of tobacco also will be destroyed. The use of Aphidius gifuensis to combate Myzus persicae is an friendly biological technology, which is ensure the quality of tobacco and the sustainable development of tobacco industry. In the present study, the effect of temperature, photoperiod, the ratio of Aphidius gifuensis and Myzus persicae on rearing process were mainly studied, the small scale rearing and releasing method of Aphidius gifuensis were also studied.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1. Temperature significantly affected the growth and development of Myzus persicae. Under the environment temperature with 25℃, the development duration and adult longevity were shorter, total and daily fecundity were the highest, suggesting that 25℃ was the most suitable temperature for the growth and development of Myzus persicae.2. High and low temperature will produce inhibition on the growth and development of Aphidius gifuensis. Under the environment temperature with 25℃, the larvae of Aphidius gifuensis growing most rapidly, the number of oviposition. mummified aphids, eclosion and the emergence rate was the highest, indicated that the environment temperature with 25℃ was most conductive to rearing Aphidius gifuensis.3. Photoperiod had no significant effect on adult longevity of Aphidius gifuensis. Under the photoperiod with 14L:10D, the larvae of Aphidius gifuensis growing most rapidly, the number of mummified aphids and eclosion, the parasitic rate and emergence rate was the highest.4. For the ratio of Aphidius gifuensis and Myzus persicae 1:100 was beneficial to motivate the spawning behavior of Aphidius gifuensis. Under this condition, the number of mummified aphids and eclosion of single bee was the highest, the average number of eggs of mummified aphids was close to 1, the degree of superparasitism was reduced effectively, which is the best ratio of Aphidius gifuensis and Myzus persicae.5. The small scale indoor shed rearing of Aphidius gifuensis was studied. The number of mummified aphids reached 948.2 per plant after 15d, a total number of bee in this greenhouse shed was about 27000,which arrived the requirement of the small scale rearing.6. The influence of releasing time on the number of Myzus persicae, mummified aphids and the reduce rate of Myzus persicae was studied. The results show that, in the way of one time releasing, the aphid population had been controled in a short time, and the number of Myzus persicae would grow to a higher level later. When the releasing time at 3 or 4, the control effect on Myzus persicae would last for a long time, and the number of Myzus persicae had been controlled in lower level. It’s more conducive to control the population of Myzus persicae in the releasing way of more time and less number. |
