With growing global energy crisis and environmental pollution, more attention have paid to new energy vehicles especially hybrids cars from the traditional auto industry due to its energy saving, environmental friendly, high efficiency, high fuel economy characteristics. CVT institutions as a core component in the hybrid system, are usually used to obtain lower emissions and higher fuel efficiency, the planetary gear as the important part in continuously variable transmission mechanism with large noise, high maintenance cost, easy to wear, such as inherent defect, so the new type of permanent magnet type planetary gear is put forward and used in a hybrid drive system, however the single permanent magnet type planetary gear hybrid system structure is relatively single original, it is difficult to meet the needs of the hybrids cars in more conditions, so this paper proposes a double permanent magnetic planetary gear row of a new type of hybrid drive system. The system in the implementation of the function of the traditional mechanical transmission at the same time also has high power density, high efficiency, low loss, and the advantages of free maintenance, through the matching of the front row permanent magnetic planetary gear can not only realize continuo us ly variable transmission and can keep the engine work in the best working area.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background and current situation of the development of hybrid drive system, do a simple classification of a hybrid system. Then the planet gear mechanism as the main components of hybrid system were analyzed, and do a brief overview of permanent magnet type planetary gear, which is put forward to improve the development of the mechanical planetary gear. eventually the double row of permanent magnet type planetary gear hybrid drive system namely DMPGPM hybrid drive is put forward on the basis of double row planetary gear and the permanent magnet type planetary gear.Do detailed introduction about the structure of DMPGPM hybrid system, and as the core parts in DMPGPM hybrid drive permanent magnet type planetary gear were analyzed in the basic principle, and by using the lever principle analysis under different working conditions, the calculation method of the connection mode and speed torque was given. A mathematical equation DMPGPM hybrid drive system was established, the common working condition was analyzed, and the system connection and the energy transfer roadmap were given.Simulation model of DMPGPM hybrid drive system is established under Matlab software, this paper introduces the MPG- PMBL motor control model and ontology model, PMMPG model and other key module, the different working conditions of model simulation and the simulation results are analyzed.Finally, DMPGPM hybrid drive system has set up a platform experiment system based on its working principle and the Matlab simulation, experiment arrangeme nt contains the prime mover single driver experiment, pure electric experiment and hybrid experiment, experiment and its results verified the DMPGPM steady-state and dynamic performance of a hybrid drive system, and also to verify the rationality of the design of the system structure and the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
