Double crank four ring-plate-type cycloid drive is a new-type drive. After analyzing the merits and the shortcomings of involute gear ring-plate drive and traditional cycloid drive each, we proposed the double crank four ring-plate-type cycloid drive, which possess the merits of small volume, light weight, wide range of transmission ratio, high efficiency, uniform operating, well knit-structure, high load-capacity. Because double crank four ring-plate-type cycloid drive is still at the stage of studying, its design and manufacture lack the reliable theoretical foundation, it is extremely meaningful for mechanical industry to study its dynamics, to analyze the vibration mechanism, to present the measures to improve performance, and to design planetary gear trains with super performance.This dissertation mainly explores the dynamics of the double crank four ring-plate-type cycloid drive.The 3D solid model of the every parts of Ring-plate-type Pin-cycloid gear reducer is carried out in the Pro/E system. Based on this solid model, the dynamic model of all parts is established in finite element analysis system-ANSYS and studied the inherent characteristics of every parts. Compare the analysis results with the test, it can be found that the parts to largely impact the inherent characteristics. It is the foundation of the dynamic analysis of the whole reducer system.The rigid drive is one of the main drive forms of the gear meshing. So the accurate of result of the gear meshing rigidity is related to the accuracy of the dynamic analysis of the whole reducer system. It has been calculated that the stress and distortion of the pin-cycloid gear according to the analysis method of new tooth profile. And the meshing rigidity of the pin-cycloid has been calculated with the theory method.Using ANSYS/LS-DYNA module, this module can simulate some complex collision in the real world. It carries on the dynamic simulation of the cycloid gear and can receive the gear meshing rigidity. It can contrast with the result in theory method. And carries on the analysis to the meshing rigidity, proposes the improvement program of proto type.
