In the process of transformation of economic development, persist in putting social benefits first, social benefit and economic benefit unifies, promote cultural undertakings prosperity, cultural industry rapid development in an all-round way. The tourism industry can promote the development of economy, the process will also play a role in promoting the role of different regional culture exchanges and development. Not only can make people know more about a region, the souvenir can also be regarded as an urban business card, to promote more people to understand and cognition, which is an important aspects of the chain of tourism.At present, the fast development of tourism industry in China, but in terms of tourism commodity market, and tourism developed countries and regions and even the world average level or there is a big gap, compared with single, form the same travel products varieties, poorly made, arouses the tourists to purchase desire was the main cause of this phenomenon. Therefore, this research is as a starting point, with the author’s hometown of Handan as an example, design a series of Handan regional culture as the background of tourism souvenirs.Handan is an ancient city, but it is not very perfect, tourism product development space is very big. In the souvenir design, the author USES the claborate-style painting techniques to complete the artwork design, for three reasons: the first is the claborate-style painting art is a traditional Chinese painting, whether domestic or foreign people have a special kind of emotion; The second is the original manual products occupy more and more in the commodities market position, everything can be said to be unique, loved by people. Third, the term "Chinese wind" almost become the mainstream of modern development, whether it is music creation, garment design, holiday celebrations, classic Chinese beauty is everywhere. This time I will take handan history and culture of five theme design respectively, and attach these above the items of the essence, finishing works design.Full text consists of five chapters, chapter 1 introduction part, by outlining the 18 large enhancement of national culture development request and the contrast of tourism economic income as the background, both at home and abroad, in turn, lead to the purpose and significance of this subject research, the last is to adopt the research method and technical route. Chapter 2 from the beginning of the overview of the tourist souvenirs, write the classification, characteristics and function of tourist souvenirs, then according to the author’s own experience and from other sources of information has analyzed the development status of domestic and international tourism commodity, and list some souvenirs design competition, finally alone in Handan, for example on the current situation of the development of tourist souvenirs and description. Chapter 3 is based on Handan souvenirs design of regional culture, this paper expounds the history and culture of Handan, the cause of the stroke technique of expression of employment, and the analysis of the modelling design and materials used. Chapter 4 is the "ancient township yanyun" souvenirs design in detail, including the name of the origin, market research and design of positioning, the formation of the design creation, souvenirs series design, and development.
