Research Of The Measurement And Control System Of Universal Material Testing Machine

Material universal testing machine is a testing equipment that tests the parts of the equipment that is made of different mechanical materials (metal materials or nonmetal material) by tensile, compression, bending, shear, torsion, impact and other mechanical properties and other physical in a variety of environments and conditions.With the high-speed development of industrial materials and microelectronic science and technology,the old hydraulic material measurement and control system and some frequency measurement and control system in data processing, control method and equipment integration have gradually adapt to the requirements of most of users, so that urgently require testing machine control system towards digital, intelligent and integration.Therefore, it has the universal significance to develop a high precision, high real-time measurement and control system of material testing machine.Based on this purpose, this paper is proposed one measurement and control system of material universal testing machine that based on a micro controller and the virtual instrument development platform of LabVIEW, has the advantages of precise motion control and powerful ability of data analysis and processing.In this paper, by collected the relevant information about the material test measurement and control system,and it briefly introduces the structure,working principle,development status and trend about the material testing machine.Then, the whole control system is divided into different functional modules and are respectively discussed in the hardware structures and software design.On the whole,the design of hardware circuit including force value detection unit, displacement and deformation detection unit, servo control unit and the man-machine interface unit, etc.Using the powerful data processing function of micro-controller to realize the test data transmission, processing, display, and other operations.Software using the LabVIEW virtual instrument development platform,using modular design method,to realize the real-time acquisition, dynamic display, accurate control,analysis and storage of test data.This topic design a measurement and control system of universal material testing machine can be used to test the mechanical properties of various metal and nonmetal materials.Compared with the old machine control system,this design of the testing machine control system has more powerful data processing ability, precise control performance and higher system integration and good real-time performance.
