Since the innovation and development of modern science and technology changes with each passing day, the process of economic development and modern process accelerates, which makes the society demand for energy increased greatly than ever before. The traditional primary energy, such as coal.oil. and natural gas is non-renewable, also, it destructs and pollutes the environment. What’s worse, many regions and countries have appeared the energy shortage problem. In a manner of speaking, the energy problem is the problem of survival and development that every country must to face and to solve. Developing and utilizing new energy is the best way to solve the energy-shortage problem.Wave energy is refers to the water in the process of movement by the spread of water energy, which can be used to produce a kind of energy with no environment pollution. Since it has the characteristic of reproducibility and wide distribution, more and more attentions have been attracted in recent years.Because of its particularity, wave energy cannot be used directly into electricity. It need special devices. We can realize the conversion process of wave into a medium energy through it, and then convert to electricity energy.The goal of this paper is to study the floating type permanent magnet linear generator of wave energy power generation device, it can supply power to the electrical equipment and devices on the sea surface.Thesis first summarizes the development history and process of wave energy power generation, and second introduce the condition of the wave energy power generation at home and abroad. By analyzing all kinds of commonly used energy power generation device, comparing the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of permanent linear generator,this paper adopts the tubular permanent magnet linear generator as wave power energy conversion device.Secondly, analyze and deduce the basic theory of tubular permanent magnet linear generator, determine the main dimensions of the generator, then calculate the stator winding, design the dynamic substructure, calculate the stator loss.Finally, establish finite element model of the tubular permanent magnet linear generator by Ansoft, then analysis the prototype of the electromagnetic field, the emf waveform simulation. By changing the size of the alveolus、the thickness and the width of permanent magnet, we imagine improving efficiency of the permanent, restrain the electromagnetic wave, so as to achieve the goal of optimization of generator. This paper has a significance for the design of this type of motor.
