With the rapid development of economy, the market circumstance changes every minute and the competition between manufacturing enterprises,especially those with multi-kind and small-quantity production are becoming increasingly fierce. So numerous companies try to use advanced management methods and equipments, to improve their competitiveness by establishing ERP system or implementing a more efficient and accurate production mode——Lean Production.However the effects of those attempts are not impressive. Some other companies,also, try to combine those two methods, however few firms can do it effectively. We can get timely and accurate information through ERP system, but lacking of effective management to the production site. By implementing Lean Production, we can use limited resources to achieve the largest output, but lacking of firm level management module. Thereby, combining them effectively, the level of company management can be improved higher. According to the running condition of the manufacturing enterprise R Co. Ltd., the method Lean Production, based on the management of ERP, will be discussed in the paper, by applying the industrial engineering theory and technique. The general running mode of R Co. Ltd., and reforming the structure will be analyzed. According to the situation of the enterprise, we design the ERP-LEAN push-pull production system; apply LEAN management tools:6S management, Total Productive Maintenance TPM, standardized work SW, Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), etc., to modify the production. In order to synchronize and balance the production level, Visualization-information Kanban will be designed. Using optimum proposals to drive the Just In Time (JIT), for example optimizing the process of material purchasing and Supplier Management to eliminate the Inventory of raw material and purchased components and keep timely supply. We use the quality management and control, optimization of ERP parameters and improvement of staff management etc., to improve production process management.And then, the improved running efficiency of R Co. Ltd. will be analyzed, including the shorted product delivery time, the improved product quality, the low percentage of defection etc.. The method used in this paper is a successful practice, which not only proved R Co. Ltd. with obvious benefits, but also set a good example for other companies to reference.
