The Establishment Of The Comprehensive Index System Of Ecological Environment For Hexi Corridor

The Hexi Corridor severe ecological situation, non-negligible ecological functions and unique geographical location determines the region plays an important role in the national ecological environment construction. Study on ecosystem problems in Hexi corridor and build ecological evaluation system in Hexi corridor will help the government to find the current condition and development trend of Ecological Environment in this region; to provide policy guidelines for northwest desertification control and ecological improvement.This paper set the five cities along Hexi corridor as sample. Based on the Ecologically Sustainable Development theory and Ecological Economics theory, etc., Use the AHP, the ecological footprint model and the PSR models to build ecological evaluation system in Hexi corridor. Specifically, this research use main causes and results analysis to build ecological vulnerability assessment index, use the human’s supply and demand for natural resources to build ecological sustainability evaluation index, use the pressure, response and status to build ecological security evaluation index. Finally, based on the construction of evaluation index system, the author calculates the Ecological vulnerability degree, ecological footprint and ecological safety degree, then puts forward the measures and suggestions.The results show that the range of ecological vulnerability,the value of ecological footprint and ecological safety degree in Hexi Corridor are 0.4295-0.6262、-1.1765 and 0.4439, The ecological environment condition in this region is unsafe.
