Agricultural science and technology talents is an important part of talent team in our country, which has strong specificity, servicing rural areas is their mission, they are also the representative of the advanced productive forces in the rural areas, as well as the important force of science and technology in building our country. There is no doubt that our country is a agricultural country, agriculture, rural areas and farmers problem and the development of agriculture and rural areas need to rely on the strength of science and technology, rural science and technology talents make contributions to rural development, it is an inevitable trend and the direction of agricultural development in our country.But the reality is that China’s current quality of rural scientific and technological personnel is low, and there exists many troubles in rural science and technology talent training, a large number of high-quality scientific and technological personnel spillover from the countryside in the tide of reform and opening up, the talent professional structure is more and more unreasonable, talent regional distribution tend to be imbalanced. This problem not only restricts the development of rural economy and the progress of agricultural science and technology, but also restricts the construction of new socialist countryside in China. This study starts from the research of present situation and demand of rural scientific and technological personnel, the research object is scientific and technological personnel in the rural areas, based on the human capital theory, human resources management theory, etc. this paper studies the specific category of rural human resources, the role of rural human resources, etc. Aiming at resolving the current problems in rural areas, such as the low quality of rural science and technology talent team in our country, unreasonable structure, imbalanced regional distribution, cultivating mechanism study, this paper put forwards the optimization approaches of rural science and technology talent training mechanism.This study was divided into five parts, the first part is introduction, briefly describes the research questions of this study, the content, background, etc. The second part is the theoretical part, this part will respectively elaborate the theoretical basis relate to rural scientific and technological personnel, and rural science and technology talent training, further discusses the necessity of rural science and technology talents. The third part analyzes the present situation of our rural scientific and technological personnel, points out the problems and the main causes of rural science and technology talent training in our country. The fourth part is to find corresponding countermeasures in view of the problems and reasons. The fifth part is conclusion.
