The Design And Implementation Of Luwafang Community Hospital Clinic Management System

With the informatization of our society, the information system of thecomputerized hospitals has been the indispensible surroundings for the infrastructureand technology supports to run modern hospitals. The digital management of hospitalshas become necessary for the social development, and also the developing tendencyfor the management of hospitals. Many hospitals in the cities of China, by usingmanagement software, have begun managing the hospitals’ inner system of which thework flow are complicated and the authority management are strict. Thus, the systemscan’t be used in small hospitals lying in hospitals in communities and towns; as aresult, it is high time that we developed a specific management system to meet theneeds for the small hospitals to develop.This system uses the structural pattern, management pattern and managementflow of the existing system in hospitals, makes full use of computer technology, database technology, and is designed by using the smart, modularized structure method. Itrealizes the functions like out-patient registration management, out-patient priceprescription management, out-patient fees-paying management, drug dispensingmanagement of the drug store, drug inquiry management, doctors’ informationmanagement, patients’ visiting information management, the checking of theregistration number of the administrative office and so forth. The system is designedby basing on the C/S structure, using PowerBuilder9.0as the developing platformand the SQL Server2000as the management system for the database. The systemsatisfies the requirements for managing the hospitals, and can help the hospitalsimprove their working efficiency. It is characterized by easy operation, highefficiency, safe and reliable data, and easy maintenance. It is full of the constructionexperience from a large amount of small-sized hospitals, and thus is meaningful to promote.This paper is design and implemented basing on the software engineering theory.It divided the system into stages of system analysis, general system design, detailedsystem design, and system testing and others. In the stage of requirement systemanalysis, the concrete services of the system are analyzed in details. In the generalsystem design stage, the function modules and the database of the system are designed.In the stage of detailed design, the process of realizing the functions of the system areintroduced in details, the sequence chart of the function modules and the flow chart ofrealizing programs are drawn up. Each process of the realizing the modules aredescribed in details by words, and the key function codes are illustrated. In the stageof system testing, each function modules of the system are tested.
