The Internet of Things is one of the world’s productive forces to promote therapid development of new information technologies in the21st century. Its concept asearly as1999had already been raised, later they got rapid development. It uses theinformation collection device, such as RFID tags, sensors, cameras, positioningequipment, to get a target object or person-related data information, and then throughthe data transmission techniques such as wireless data transmission, Bluetooth,Zigbeen and so on to transmit the data obtained before to the data processing system,in order to achieve the objects of the monitoring, management and positioningfunctions. RFID radio frequency technology which is the most important and basictechnology of the internet of things, this paper mainly utilizes RFID technology toachieve the management of the equipment.This paper is mainly to achieve the laboratory management system based onInternet of Things technologies. In this paper, there are two areas of innovation: firstis the application of RFID technology for laboratory equipment management,equipment management system is mainly divided into three parts, the first one is tocollect device information, and the second is the transmission of equipmentinformation, and the third is to process the device information, the proposed approachis to collect RFID information to the host device through WiFi automatically, and thento make the appropriate logic processing by the host, there is no human interventionduring the whole process, so we can achieve intelligent device management. Secondis that it can achieve the experts recommend elective functions, students can select theappropriate class time and hours on their own time, the system will be able torecommend appropriate for the students to meet the conditions of class time andclassroom. The laboratory management system is based on the actual situation of ourschool and for the design and development, the paper analyzes the students, teachersand administrators of these three roles functional requirements, perform differentfunctions corresponding requirements. The main function of the student section is asmart elective appointment of experts and equipment, as well as some other auxiliary functions such as uploading files, change passwords, message, etc; teacher’s mainfunction is to print transcripts etc; administrator primarily for system administrationand maintenance, and the specified message and other students. In the course of thesystem design and development the main technology we applied are RFID technology,JSP technology, wireless transmission technology and Mysql database technology.The main hardware equipment we used contains C3-100controllers, electronic tagsand readers.Finally, the paper summarizes and prospects for deficiencies and shortcomingsexist in the system are analyzed.
