At present, video area CCD camera, with excellent performance in imagingquality, are widely used in industrial, military and scientific fields. At present, activeresearch about the video area CCD camera is carried out at home and abroad. Andthis topic is in this backdrop. This thesis designs the drive circuit for the TH7888Asensor, with the highest frame rates up to30fps, gaining a continuous video stream.The development, status and application of visible imaging spectrometers aredetailed in this paper. Compared to CMOS sensors, the paper analyses the basicprinciples and imaging performance of CCD sensors. The present status andincreasing application demands make the thesis meaningful.The TH7888A (1024x1024pixels with antiblooming) is particularly designed forhigh data rate applications in the medical and industrial fields. Based on theprinciples and input-output features of the sensor, the imaging circuit is designed,with particular processing of the output video signals. The system contains5mainmodules: power supply module, sensor driving module, ADC module, FPGA moduleand USB module. The function and performance is verified through systemsimulations.A series of experiments of hardware debugging, sequential logic circuitsoptimization and optical-electronic co-debuging verify the performance of thedesigned electronic system. Satisfying the stability and power-consumingrequirements, the system can gain high-contrast images and continuous videostreams.
