With the continuous development of digital image and digital storage technology,based on multiple linear CCD cameras in splicing, high-resolution, one-off imaginglarge format scanner is widely used such as in archives management, clothing, textile,mapping, the main purpose of it is to put the old drawings, fabrics, historical relics intodigital files after scanning, this equipment offer the potential to keep very largedocument in storage for a long time. Some areas will be based on themselves demand,to make further changes to the original drawings, and then output to update the version,to accelerate the design. Research of large format scanner in China has been in abackward position, the market in this field have been monopolized by foreignmanufacturers. Key technology research, for large format scanner is mainlyconcentrated in the mechanical press paper structure, integrated scanning component,optoelectronic control system, mass data processing and algorithm.This dissertation from application background of large format scanner, marketprospect and the significance of research in optoelectronic control system. Firstly, thestructure of the scanner system is introduced simply, the structure of the photoelectriccontrol system has been designed including the function of each module, design schemeof each part has been elaborated, key circuit components has been selected andparameter has been calculated. The selection and design of main control circuit based onFPGA and peripheral circuit was introduced firstly in overall structure, power supplymodule and improved designment to the system was introduced, the paper feed motordriven has been designed and image quality has been improved through the designsecondly, the image quality effect of light source on the system was introduced and highfrequency flash source drive has been designed thirdly, and the test and analysis for themain system parameters and the improvement of image though the development ofpaper feed system has been made by MATLAB finally.Based on the parameters of the system test and actually use show that the designhas been meet the requirements. the design of whole machine had been finishedaccording to schedule, based on multiple linear CCD cameras in splicing, high-resolution, one-off imaging large format scanner had been firstly designed inChina at that time, the blank was filled in this field.
