Today’s China is at a critical period of social transition. All aspects of frequent social conflicts, natural disasters, virus infection, terrorist attacks and more and more crises coming into view arouse great concern, which brings serious harm to human social order and development. With the arrival of the era of self-Media for the government’s handling of crises bring opportunities, it also brings a great challenge. As the saying goes, the crisis is crisis, if the government communication strategy is properly, it can be converted to opportunity.From the SARS outbreak in2003to2013H7N9avian influenza response, during the years, our government crisis communication strategy has undergone a major change. This paper analyzes the government, the media, the public in the event of a crisis of the Propagation Situation analysis, combined with nearly a decade of crisis; followed by the review of these two cases the government crisis communication, dissemination of ideas, communication channels, disseminating content relevant theories of the transformation of China’s government crisis communication strategy were analyzed. Analysis of the problems in the government crisis communication and suggestions proposed change of government crisis communication strategy.
